Sorry for the bother, but as I am learning this web site as we go there tends to be hiccups. Turns out I wasn’t saving new subscribers to the CSV file and that might of been why some people were not receiving emails. I’ve added everybody to the CSV file and am now testing the system to ensure I’ve figured my mistake. Please send me a confirmation of this email, so that I can check everybody off the list who is receiving email, and chase down any loose ends.

Thanks for your cooporation have a nice weekend,

I apologize about any inconvenient excess email deliveries. As it turns out I’m not a computer science major, but BIO CHEM, so I’m still learning this program and unfortunately when changes are made emails are sent, and one more than one changes is made more than one email is sent. However, I changed a setting so that only once a day emails will be sent when anything is added to the site. Let’s hope this cuts down on the excess. Have a good semester!

Cheers,

Hello Everyone!

I am posting a schedule for the sale of the lab manuals for the fall chem courses.

Each day there are time slots for the start of each lab section. I hope I got them all correct, If you notice anything wrong please correct me.

This schedule is for the first week. I thought the people that were available could actually take the books to the classrooms directly on the first day, and that we could also man the stockroom for some time slots.

I could not fill each slot with chem club members, so my wife Rupa, volunteered to help out for a couple of days. She is a Metro student, but an English major of all things. I told her we would give her an honorary Chem Club Membership for the day, and she seemed to accept that.

If any other chem club members can make some time to sell in the stockroom for a one or a two hour slot, it would indeed help. Please let me know, and I will modify the schedule.

I will also post signs on all of the doors of the chem labs early Monday morning, announcing to students that we will be selling their lab manuals both in their classes and in the stock room during certain hours. It will be important to sell in the stockroom as well since not all students will have cash or checkbook available during their first class period.

Any Chem Club members selling the manuals could also make a friendly announcement to the classroom they are selling in, something about joining the chem club.

I look forward to seeing you all soon.

James…
