Upcoming Chemistry Club Meeting
Hey there all you cool Chemistry Club cats and inquisitive visitors, hope everyone is pleased with their results and/or is working hard to finish their semester strong! To reward yourselves for all of your efforts you might consider attending the next Club Meeting i.e. Cafe Scientifique on Tuesday May 18th located at the Wynkoop Brewery, 1634 18th Street right off the 16th Street Mall. A few of us will arrive early (at about 6pm) to secure a table in the Mercantile Room. Before the lecture we will be discussing plans for Chemistry Club activities during the 2010-2011 school year, semester highlights, incredulous happenings and other things of interest which might contribute to the general jollity of the evening. The lecture, sure to be of interest to the “chemically inclined”, will be presented by:
John Martyny, PhD, CIH
National Jewish Health, DENVER
…on the following topic:
“Cooking Meth With Kids in the House: The Dark Side of Chemistry”

To wrap things up, I want to thank everyone who had a hand in the King Corn event for all their support! I would also like to encourage anyone who might have considered taking an active role in the club but, for whatever reason, couldn’t find the time, to come on down and share your ideas!
Have a terrific break!
