Local ACS Meeting
| March 6, 2008 | ||
| 5:00 pm | to | 8:00 pm |
March 6 (Thursday) is the next local ACS meeting at DU. The topic is the utilization of advanced spectroscopic methods in science education. The local section will be supporting student affiliate groups again this year with another COSAC conference, and they support student travel to conferences, as well. I encourage you all to attend these local meetings for several reasons: you’ll hear about current applications and news, get new ideas, get (or stay) excited about chemistry, meet potential employers, and be seen as a highly active student affiliate group. Not to mention, students get a good meal for $5.
I’ve attached the section newsletter, and I always post the current copy on the Club bulletin board outside SI323. RSVP’s are due by Feb 28.
